Kara Zacconi, a mezzo-saprano and proud AGMA member, was raised in Orlando, FL, where she trained at Orlando Ballet under the late Fernando Bujones. After graduating from OBT, she attended Florida State University's Dance program where she studied under Dan Wagner, Jawole Zollar, and Gerri Houlihan. Kara graduated Deans List with a BFA in Dance Performance in December 2008. Kara purchased a one way ticket to NYC, and has never looked back!

In NYC, Kara has trained at the Martha Graham School on scholarship, Broadway Dance Center, Perridance and STEPS. Kara has teaching experience as being the Dance Specialist with PS112's Rising Stars program through Union Settlement, and as a Dance Specialist with the LEAP Program. Kara has been on tour domestically and internationally with Catapult Entertainment to Italy and Kuwait, back up danced for Lil'Kim and Mila Jam and has booked many print ads such as HSBC, Clear Blue, Bud Lite China, and Transferwise to name a few. She has modeling experience with Panasonic and Calumet/Leaf. She is currently a founding member of the Victory Dance Project under Dir. Amy Jordan.

She is a Market Manager for Next Level Marketing and maintains client relations with top brands such as Stoli Vodka, Bayou Rum and Santera tequlia. Most recently Kara has founded her own creative dance-marketing agency, KProject.
